Malpractice Insurance Subsidy
The cost of malpractice insurance is always a concern, more so with physicians than with dentists (except for oral surgeons). New Jersey recently collected $75 from every licensed professional including dentists, physicians, chiropractors, etc., to provide a fund for practitioners who can not afford their own dental insurance. What is your opinion?

If you examine the frequency and amount of the awards involved between medicine and dentistry, why are dentists required to "contribute" the same amount of money to this "fund" as physicians are?

Another great example of when the state needs money, they go to the same well. I'll be out of the practitioner ratrace in about a year so you younger guys will have to deal with it. (By the way, I'm a chiropractor and still have an issue with this decree. I just stumbled on this blog by accident. Wish there was a similiar one for us.)
