Expert Witness Course

The dental school at UMDNJ had an excellent course on the mechanics and philosopy of becoming an expert witness for dental malpractice cases. I'm going to follow up. Anyone else out their with experiences they'd like to share?

I've been doing work as an expert witness for both plantiff and defense for several years. Start-up takes some time, getting your name around the various attorney circles, and you won't get a flood of cases at the beginning. But with persistence I've built it into a pretty consistant means of income.

I agree with RT that start-up for this takes some time. I do a couple a year and limit it to really interesting cases. More fun than lucrative.
